Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for Debris Removal in Fillmore County, City of Rushford, Minnesota. The requirement is subject to the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief a nd Emergency Assistance Act, as amended and Related Authorities under FEMA 592, June 2007, per presidential declaration of August 2007. Competition is restricted only to offers from Fillmore, Houston, and Winona Counties in the State of Minnesota will be considered for contract award. Small business participation is highly encouraged. The requirement calls for the removal of debris of both man-made and natural origins. Debris of man-made origin includes, but is not limited to lumber, metals and plastics . Debris of natural origins includes, but is not limited to, trees within the defined project area that have been damaged by flood waters. Reference photographs and maps are available for viewing on the FEDTEDS website located at https://www.fedteds.gov /. If technical issues arise, prospective offerors may request this information via e-mail to the POCs listed at the bottom of this announcement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqu isition Circular FAC 2005-20. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562119, and 561730 may be applicable as well. This synopsis/solicitation incorporates one or more solicitations by reference , with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Department of Labor Wage Determination Schedule 1979-1073, Revision 31, revised 19 OCT 2007 is applicable to this procurement. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposals. Businesses within the flooded project counties identified above are encouraged to pa rticipate. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determin ation by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
