- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3Z0457218AV01 this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 and Defense DCN 20070828. This acquisition is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110. The business size standard is $6.5 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 9999. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8661. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001: Qty, 9 Months- To provide services as the PEAK VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR at TRAVIS AFB, CA, 94535 as described in the STATEMENT OF WORK :1. Environment: The Travis AFB chaplain service mission is tailored around the 60th Wing?s mission. We provide for the religious and spiritual needs of all Air Force members and their families. The Peak supports individual rights under the First Amendment to the US Constitution and provides an opportunity for everyone to freely exercise their religious beliefs.2. Qualifications:A.Completion of at least a high school education and at least two (2) years experience in coordinating a program like an Internet Caf?.B. Possesses a high level of interpersonal skills and be able to operate coffee shop equipment and computers. C. Be able to joyfully support and work with people of all faiths.3.Duties and responsibilities: A.Coordinate all advertisements,activities and requests through THE PEAK chaplain sponsor.B. Ensure THE PEAK is staffed to be open Monday through Saturday from 1800-2200 C. Recruit,evaluate,train,and schedule volunteers to work in THE PEAK who share the mission with Travis AFB Chaplain Division and who will support the free exercise of religion.D. Advertise The Peak in appropriate base venues. Coordinate with THE PEAK chaplain on upcoming events.E.Ensure THE PEAK is properly supplied with snacks,drinks, and paper products (cups,napkins,etc.) Monies for this can be aquired by completing a fund requests submitted to your PEAK chaplain,wait for approval then project officer check will be issued to shop for goods. F.Ensure THE PEAK is regularly stocked with appropriate religious literature approved by THE PEAK chaplain who will clear thru Wing Chaplain.G. Ensure computers are properly maintained,operational,secured, and promptly reporting any problems. H. All volunteers recruited by the Peak Coordinators will be accountable to THE PEAK chaplain sponsor.4. Quality Assurance: The Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE)for this agreement is CTOF,Acquisition Officer,Travis AFB Chapel. The vendors will consult with the QAE for resolution of problems or questions about this statement of work. 5.Period of Service: The term of agreement is in effect until September 30,2008.6. Equipment and supplies: Supplies needed to fulfill this statement of work will be purchased using funds from the Travis AFB chaplain service. A computer,computer program,work area,any additional office equipment,standard office supplies (pens,paper,paperclips,staples,etc.),and internal funds request and processing forms will be provided by the Travis AFB chaplain service. 8 Security: The vendors will comply with all Air Force computer and information security requirements.9. Working hours and extended period of absence: About 20 hours a week are required to fulfill this agreement. The Vendors are require to give the chapel staff a two-week written notice of any extended period of absence. Extended period of absence is defined as an absence for more than three days. The Vendors will provide a substitute to perform services in their absence. This substiture must be of equal or greater capability than vendors and approved by the acquisition officer. Vendors will develop a documented method of reimbursement for any substitutes. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
