- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to seed designated burned and unburned areas, using aircraft, with BLM specified seed at the rate specified in the Solicitation. Solicitation Number FAQ080026 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the aerial application of the seed. DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF WORK Using Contractor furnished aircraft, equipment, supplies, and materials except for specified Government furnished property to seed designated burned and unburned areas (approximately 4620 acres) with BLM specified seed at the rate specified in Appendix C, using aircraft as stated in the Detailed Specifications. Work under this contract is located in Humboldt County, State of Nevada. The work consists of 1 project site area to be seeded. The project is located approximately 17 miles Southwest of Winnemucca Airport, Winnemucca, Nevada. A map is attached that will specify the location. The area is shown on the Project Location Map, with the location depicted to be aerially seeded. Contractor shall load, transport, and protect seed from damage. Complete specifications and requirements will be included in the solicitation package. Solicitation package will be available electronically on or about January 4, 2008. Please print the Standard form (SF)-18 and all clauses and attachments. Quotes will be due on January 11, 2007 COB. Quotes may be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, Attention: Connie Hampton to PO Box `12000, Reno NV 89520. By express or hand delivery to: Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, 1340 Financial Blvd., Reno, NV 89502 Attention: Connie Hampton, fax 775-861-6634 An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Applicator's experience and Company experience as detailed in the solicitation, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the Solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03; Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed.) This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 115112. Size standard is $6.5 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 11, 2008. Detailed information, including a Statement of Work and Maps, will be included.
