- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and other items and services (other than government furnished property and services) necessary to perform the work required in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Air Force Logistics Management Agency (AFLMA) Readiness Base Leveling (RBL). AFLMA performs and supports programming and modeling, and many recurring technical tasks for the Air Force Requirements Team (AFRT). These tasks are very important to the accuracy and effectiveness of Air Force peacetime and contingency supply requirements and levels. RBL is an Air Force centralized supply leveling methodology used to minimize the number of unfilled supply requests at the base-level, throughout the Air Force. RBL was implemented in 1997 and is used to determine when and where to stock assets for the highest value to the Air Force as a whole, rather than optimizing levels at particular bases and locations. Place of Performance will be Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, Alabama, at the AFLMA. Performance under this contract requires travel. This will be a Labor hour contract with firm fixed priced labor rates. The contract period of performance will include a twelve month base year beginning 1 Feb 08 and ending 31 Jan 09 and four consecutive twelve month options. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541519 and the size standard is $23 Mil. The announcement will be available on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 5 Dec 2007. Paper copies will not be available.
