Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of Engineering Change Proposal 6169R1 Airframe Mounted Accessory Drive Door Interference Out of Warranty retrofit kits to modify 60 F/A-18E/F aircraft on a sole source basis. The delivery schedule MDC shall propose to is a minimum of 5 aircraft retrofit kits per month with the first month's delivery occurring in December 2008 and the final month's delivery occurring on or before 30 November 2009. The proposal shall also include an affirmative assertion by MDC that each delivered kit that contains specialty metal(s) shall be compliant with 10 USC 2533(b). MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
