Description
The following is hereby provided as Amendment 00001 to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation No. HSHQDC-08-Q-00057. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Question 1: Does the government envision the use of a single individual to fulfill the Subject-Matter-Expert requirements or the use of a team. Government Response: DHS anticipates that this component of the requirement will be provided through the services one (1) Subject Matter Expert. Question 2: Specifically in the Description paragraph, lines 3 and 4, ?Quotes are being requested through this document and a written solicitation will not be issued.? What does this mean? Government Response: DHS will not follow the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation document submitted for this effort with a formal synopsis or solicitation. Quoters are instructed to submit quotations in response to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation HSHQDC-08-Q-00057. Question 3: Is there an incumbent for this effort and does this solicitation have set-aside requirements? Government Response: No. Question 4: Will DHS accept a quotation using a GSA schedule procedures? Government Response: No. Question 5: Can Task II, the Training Design and Delivery Module, be quoted separately? Government Response: Yes, quoters may bid on a ?per task? basis to provide service for only one (1) of the components requested for this requirement, (i.e., submit a quote for the Training component or the Subject Matter Expert component without submitting a quote for the other). In that vein, please note that although DHS intends to award a single Purchase Order to support this effort, the Department reserves the right to issue a multiple award Purchase Order if such action is determined to be most advantageous and produce the best -value for the Government. Question 6: Is there any additional detail available regarding the training and what it will entail? Government Response: No Question 7: Will this solicitation effort be extended for additional response time? Government Response: Yes. Quotes for this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation are now due no later than January 10, 2008 at 1:00 PM Washington D.C. time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-JAN-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
