Description

The U.S. Census Bureau intends to issue an award to Wayne Chattin for services as a Tribal Government Partnership Specialist. In this capacity, the contractor will act as a liaison for the U.S. Census Bureau to consult with Tribal Government leaders in a government-to-government fashion prior to the Census beginning major work on various upcoming surveys, including the 2010 Decennial Census. Interested parties may respond within 15 days of this announcement identifying their interest and capabilities, however, the Census Bureau's determination to not compete the proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Census Bureau. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive actions. Total costs are not expected to exceed $50K for a period extending through 2009. Mr. Chattin is uniquely qualified to fulfill the requirements of this action based on his previous experience with the U.S. Census Bureau and his existing relationships with various Tribal Governments. No solicitation document exist and requests for such document will be considered non responsive.
