- Description
- This is a large purchase buy for NSN: 599001-278-8833. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available from the Government. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Current approved manufacturers are Kitco (34087), P/N: 4074T57G01 and GE (99207) P/N: 4074T57G01. This solicitation opens on 02/8/08 and closes 03/07/08. This requirement is for a quantity of 100 each (200 each including option). Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. The Government?s requested delivery time is 200 days. FOB is at destination and inspection/acceptance are at origin. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Notes 12, 22, and 26.
