Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number Q8306080215 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for fencing wire to be delivered to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii National Park, Hawaii 96718. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-22, dated November 23, 2007. This acquisition is conducted under a Small Business Set-aside. The North American Standard Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332618 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver the following fence material: 1) 12.5 Gauge, 13-48-6, 330'/roll, Fixed Knot High Tensile fence wire, aluminum/zinc coated wire in compliance with ASTM B750 (zinc-5% Aluminum-Mischmetal), coating on the wire shall be minimum 0.85 oz. per 2 square ft; Line Wire - 0.098 diameter; Stay Wire - 0.098 diameter; Knot Wire - 0.88 diameter; sample of line spacing diagram can be faxed to interested parites. QUANTITY- 50 Rolls, Unit Price $___________________; Total Price: _______________________. 2) 12.5 Gauge, 7-35-24, 660'/roll, Ring Lock Woven High Tensile, aluminum/zinc coated fence wire in compliance with ASTM B750 (zinc-5% Aluminum-Mischmetal): QUANTITY - 45 Rolls, Unit Price $___________: Total Price:_____________: TOTAL PRICE $__________________; Total price includes delivery F.O.B. Destination to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, 1 Crater Rim Drive, Hawaii National Park, HI 96718 within 60 days of receipt of order. Contractors shall submit a copy of the proposed fence manufacturer's material product data and certification that material supplied meets the requirements of the specifications, and if needed, a sample of the wire. The following clauses or provisions are specifically referenced and are required in the response to this Solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items - Evaluation factors include (a) price; (b) performance (ability to meet the required delivery date of 60 days). Include a minimum of 3 references to document ability to meet delivery schedules of similar scope. Provide name of company, point of contact and phone number. The evaluation criteria are equal in importance. Price will be a factor in the award decision, although the award may not necessarily be made to the lowest price. The Government reserves the right to make award without further discussion. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 must be submitted with the offer, which may be completed electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.214-34, submission of Offers in the English Language; 52.214-35, Submission of Offers in U.S. Currency; 52.219-6, 52.223-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 52.232-36. Submit quotations to the attention of the Contracting Office and mail to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, P.O. Box 52, Hawaii National Park, Hawaii 96718, or send by facsimile to (808) 985-6107. Quotations must be received no later than 4:00pm, HST, Wednesday, January 30, 2008. All vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website in order for an award to be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation.
