- Description
- In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamlined Competition for IT Administrative Support Services. The competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Mr. Joe Ellis, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officer is Mr. Larry Manning. The Human Resources Advisor is Ms. Lynn Kartsakalis. The projected end of the competition is January 27,2008. The functions at the NIH to be studied include but are not limited to: reception, communication, records management, electronic data entry and retrival, meeting logistics, staff related travel, training logistics and preparation, timekeeping, purchasing actions/procurement, shipping, receiving and tracking of materials, property management, and assistance to the CIO, ISSO, IT asset manager, and Department Heads. These services are currently provided by eighteen (18) Federal Government Employees. The NIH will issue a second notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about January 27, 2008. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-SEP-2007).
