- Description
- The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) will issue Solicitation 797-07-RP-0036, for the Influenza Virus Vaccine requirements for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Health and Human Services Supply Service Center in Perry Point, MD (HHS), and Indian Health Service (IHS), for the 2008-2009 influenza season. Items and estimated quantities are as follows: 1) 10 dose multiple dose vial, trivalent; whole or split virus; 2008-2009 influenza season; for persons over 18 years old. VA - 160,000 vials BOP - 6,600 vials HHS - 31,200 vials IHS - 20,433 vials 2) Pre-filled single dose syringes w/plunger, trivalent; whole or split virus; 2008-2009 influenza season; for persons over 18 years old. VA - 1,000,000 Syringes BOP - 150 Syringes 3) Pre-filled single dose syringes w/plunger, must be split virus vaccine that has been FDA approved and labeled with indications for administration to children 6 months - 35 months of age (pediatric), preservative-free, 0.25 ml. IHS - 678 Syringes 4) Pre-filled single dose syringes w/plunger, must be split virus vaccine; for administration to children 36 months and older, preservative-free, 0.25 ml. IHS - 789 Syringes Award will be made per line item. Contractor(s) will be required to deliver the vaccine FOB Destination to Government facilities within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Solicitation No VA-797-08-RP-0063 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about February 19, 2008, with a closing date of March 11, 2008. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
