- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to perform all work for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Goodfellow AFB, TX located near San Angelo, TX. Work will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at Goodfellow AFB and the Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp. Individual, firm-fixed price task orders will be issued using the Facilities Construction Cost Data by RS Means (Unit Price Book). The contractor shall perform functions specified in the contract task orders for the unit price sum specified in the Unit Price book multiplied by the appropriate coefficient. This solicitation is set-aside for Certified 8(a) businesses located in the state of Texas. The NAICS Subsector for this acquisition is 236. The estimating software, utilizing R.S. Means Facilities Construction Cost Data, will be CMS ProEst Estimating Software. The government will provide 1 licensed copy of the estimating software to the contractor. A single award will be made as a result of the solicitation. This acquisition is for the basic period plus four, one-year option periods. The guaranteed minimum is $20,000 for the life of the contract. The contract maximum is estimated at $9,750,000. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The anticipated proposal due date is 28 March 2008 with award date of 15 April 2008. Exact dates will be shown in the Request for Proposal (RFP) when posted on or about 27 Feb 2008. All responsible 8(a) sources within the state of Texas may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system. Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at www.fbo.gov and go to the Notification Service area to register. Offerors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) @ www.ccr.gov and have completed the online registration and certifications application (ORCA) @ www.orca.bpn.gov. Award of the proposed contract cannot be made to the prospective offeror without proper registration. Any questions relating to this solicitation must be submitted in writing.
