- The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement for contractor served meals at two locations. The Contractor shall provide the meals as specified in the enclosed 3 Day sample Menu. Contractor shall provide all subsistence, supplies , and labor for the commercial meals. The Government will provide the facilities and miscellaneous food preparation equipment under accountability, along with any other equipment to be provided by the Contractor. Government facilities to be utilized are Freedom Hall (Bldg 159) at the Regional Training Institute, Ft. Meade, SD, (which is in close proximity to Sturgis, SD) 54 Sheridan Road BLD 159A Fort Meade, SD 57741 and 801 W National Guard Dr Sioux Falls SD 57104-0117 at the Armory. Presently it is ant icipated that the proposal schedule will require proposals for each location for the following catagories: Breakfast Meal, Lunch Meal, and Dinner Meal. The meals will be required during the approximate time frame of MAR-MAY. The awardee shall meet all re quirements of a food preparation/serving business within the State of South Dakota. No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes confirmation of affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. Potential contractor must complete the Central Contractor Registration process prior to award of contract. This acquisition shall be 100% small business set aside. For NAICS 7223 (formerly SIC 5812) for Food Service Contractor the small business size standard is $17.5 M. T he solicitation and any amendments will be available at the Website, http://sdguard.ngb.army.mil and then by selecting Contracting . It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at this website o/a 21 Feb 08. The Request for Quote will be due back on 26 Feb 08 at end of business day.
