Description

The National Park Service (NPS) will be issuing a Prospectus on Monday, February 25, 2008 for the sale of visitor convenience items within designated park areas of the Midwest Region. The contract term will be for ten years. The prospectus will explain the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract. The National Park Service has determined, in accordance with 36 CFR Part 51, Subpart F, that the new concession contract is a qualified concession contract as the anticipated annual gross receipts are not expected to exceed $500,000. Any offer, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Midwest Region Office of Concessions Management, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, NE 68102 by April 25, 2008, no later than 4:00 PM. Hard copies are available upon request for a printing cost recovery charge. The fee is $15 per copy if picked up from the Midwest Region Office in person and $20 per copy if mailed. To request a copy, provide a check or money order made payable to the National Park Service (Cash remittance is not accepted). A Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) is required on all checks and money orders. For mail requests include a street address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express delivery.
