Description
The contractor shall provide all labor and staff to provide occupational health services for the approximately 2500 employees and other personnel associated with the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR). Of these 2500 employees, approximately 250 are in the occupational medical surveillance program. As part of this effort, the contractor will operate an Occupational Health Clinic on-site at DSCR. Hours of operation shall be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The contractor will provide a minimum staff of one Certified Medical Assistant and one Occupational Health Nurse at the DSCR clinic during the hours of operation. The clinic staff will be under the direct supervision of an Occupational Health Physician (OHP) who may supervise the DSCR Clinic Staff from a medical facility located off site. However, the OHP shall work a minimum of 8 hours per week on-site at the DSCR Clinic. Services required to be provided include: fitness for duty physicals, medical surveillance physicals, termination physicals, etc. Any services that cannot be provided on-site at the DSCR clinic (e.g. X-rays) must be provided at a medical facility within a 10 mile radius of DSCR. Additional deliverables include written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operation of the Occupational Health Clinic, a Quality Control Plan, establishment and maintenance of medical records, provision of monthly and annual reports, and maintenance of daily logs of service.
