Description
Statement of Work ETO Monitors 1. Contractor shall disconnect, disassemble and dispose of existing ETO monitors and furnish & install a new, fully operational ETO monitoring system. The remote sensors shall be located in Room C003, C003D (2), & C005. The central monitoring station shall be located in C001A. Contractor shall be responsible for turnkey installation utilizing existing utilities available, and will be responsible for all final connections to the utilities. Necessary modifications or costs associated with providing necessary utilities will be the responsibility of the contractor. 2. Contractor shall coordinate with the Building Management System contractor, Siemens Building Technologies (913-208-2263), to ensure the sensor for Room C003 continues to supply a signal for the air handler system emergency shutoff. 3. Installation shall be coordinated with the using service so as to not impact the normal operations. The existing monitoring system shall remain operational until the new system has been operationally tested. Once the existing system is removed, contractor shall make any required wall finish repairs, to include patching and painting the drywall. 4. Contractor shall perform basic operational testing for proper operation, to include any required software set-up according to VA guidelines for operation of the equipment. Contractor will also provide all calibration gases, hardware items, software and keys needed to service, test and/or P.M. the system. 5. Training: Contractor shall conduct two sessions of in-service training to VA personnel to instruct staff working on different shifts. 6. Warranty: Manufacturer shall provide a 1 year parts and labor warranty. This includes performance of all manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance over the one year time frame.
