- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry and Mothers with Infants Together (MINT) services for male and female Federal offenders in Tallahassee, Florida (Leon County). Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, Residential Reentry Center with Mint, August 2007. An indefinite delivery requirements type contract with a two year base period and three one-year options is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the two year base period for is 17,520 (75% males/25% females) for RRC services and 4,380 females for MINT services. The estimated number of inmate dates for Option Year 1 is 8,784 (67% males/33% females) for RRC services and 2,196 females for MINT services, Option Year 2 is 8,760 (67% males/33% females) for RRC services and 2,190 females for MINT services, and Option Year 3 is 8,760 (67% males/33% females) for RRC services and 2,190 females for MINT services, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about April 9, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-1021-SE will be on or about June 9, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitations will be accepted.
