- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for the following to be performed for two (2) YCs: 01) Towing Services; 02) Docking and Undocking; 03) Pressure Wash Underwater Hull, Freeboard and Deck; 04) Vessel Preservation; 05) Void Preservation; 06) Hull Zinc Anodes; 07) Port & Starboard Thrustmaster Hydraulic Hose Replacement; 08)Port & Starboard Thrustmaster Foundation Repair; 09) Port & Starboard Main Engine Injectors; 10) Crane Swing Drive Motor /Gear Box Overhaul; and 11) Crane Hydraulic Hose Replacement as described in the Work Specifications in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal is N00253-08-T-0099. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or around 12 MAR 2008. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 28 MAR 2008 unless otherwise noted in the solicitation. When issued, the RFP will be posted electronically via NECO. RFQ (solicitation package) will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and Federal Business Opportunities http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and will be available for download. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to diane.kostelecky@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO or Federal Business Opportunities website. No bidders list will be maint ained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Any questions or requests for drawings should be submitted in writing via email to diane.kostelecky@navy.mil. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). Numbered Note 1 applies.
