- The Department of Justice, Acquisitions Services, Library Staff, intends to order subscriptions and updates on a sole source basis using Simplified Acquisitions procedures from the following publishers: West Group, Lexis, Matthew Bender, James Publishing, American Bar Assn, ProQuest, Legal Times, Carswell Co Ltd, Congressional Quarterly, Reed Elsevier, Platts, Carrol Publishing, various United States Circuit Courts, SRI International, Tax Analysts, Warren Communications News, Mergent Inc, National Journal Group, Corpus Juris Publishing, Bureau of National Affairs, Leadership Directories Inc, New York Law Journal, LRP Publications, National Archives Publishing and American Immigration Lawyers Assn. Examples of titles to be ordered are: Communication Daily, Daily Congressional Monitor, Federal Habeas Corpus Practice and Procedure, ALR 5th, Solicitors Journal and Ninth Circuit Criminal Law Reporter, incl Federal Sentencing Guide. Each publisher is the only responsible source for providing subscriptions and updates to their own copyrighted material. We intend to renew the subscriptions and updates each year until the need for the materials has ceased. Subscriptions and updates that exceed $100,000 are excluded from this announcement. This is not a request for offers and no solicitation will be issued.
