- Barth Weed Treatment FAQ080040 The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to treat noxious weeds on selected sites in the BLM Elko District as specified in the solicitation. Solicitation number FAQ080040 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the herbicide treatment of the noxious weeds. DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF WORK - Using Contractor furnished labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies/materials (except for specified Government furnished property) the contractor will treat an estimated 434 acres in designated area. THE CONTRACTOR MUST HOLD A CURRENT NEVADA COMMERCIAL PESTICIDE APPLICATOR LICENSE. The prescribed herbicides must be those found on the list of Herbicides Approved for Use on BLM Lands (to be included in the solicitation package). The contractor will be responsible for purchasing and storing needed herbicides. Work under this contract is located in Eureka County, State of Nevada. The project is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Carlin, NV. Complete specifications and requirements, including project location map, will be included in the solicitation package. Solicitation package will be available electronically on or about March 20, 2007. Please print the Standard Form SF-1449 and all clauses and attachments. A site visit has been scheduled for April 16th, 2008 (detailed information regarding the site visit will be included in the solicitation package). Quotes will be due on or about April 23rd, 2008. Quotes must be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson, HC33 Box 33500, Ely, NV 89301. By express or hand delivery to: Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson; 702 No. Industrial Blvd, Ely NV 89301, or by facsimile to (775) 289-1910. An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Applicator's experience and Company experience as detailed in the solicitation, including verification of required Nevada Applicator License, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03; Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed.) This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 115310. Size standard is $6.5 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 20, 2007. Detailed information, including a Statement of Work and Maps, will be included.
