- Description
- NAICS Code: 511210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $23 million. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Fig Leaf Software Incorporated, 1523 16th Street, Washington, DC 20036 for CommonSpot Software and their commercially available, proprietary customizations. This software will support the automation of Web Content Management for EPA?s Office of Water (OW) including automated Web navigational components, a user-friendly Web interface supporting the publication and maintenance of content by non-technical users, automated content approval workflows, and automatic application of metadata to Web pages and page assets. The U.S. EPA believes that Fig Leaf Software is the only source capable of providing this software plus the customizations specifically suited for the Federal government?s information architecture (IA). These customizations include IA based navigation modules, custom metadata based on EPA taxonomy, custom content editing modules, custom external hyperlink management and metadata attribute modules, and custom code to include related links based on EPA taxonomy and OW IA. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required software and the required customizations should fully explain their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other sources may exist and, therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will not be honored. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether another source exists, a contract will be placed with Fig Leaf Software Incorporated. Submit your response to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, RTP Procurement Operations Division (E105-02), Attn: Dan Neustedter, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711 or e-mail Neustedter.Dan@epa.gov.
