- This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-08-Q-Q459, which is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: Time of Delivery. (4/08); FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (a) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, Alternate I (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (a), (b)(1), (5), (7), (11-16), (21), (24), (d) and (e). A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued based on the lowest priced quote. This is a Brand Name specific requirement.
