- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, Illinois, is performing pre-solicitation market research to determine potential business sources and set-aside possibilities for VA Project 550-07-102, Upgrade Exhaust & Water Supply in SPD. Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, install new water purification system and make upgrades to the cooling and exhaust system in the Supply, Processing and Distribution Section on the second floor of Building 58. All workers on-site must be OSHA certified (one competent person must have 30 hour certificate and all other workers, prime and subcontractors, must have 10 hour certificate). Project magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this project is 238220. Potential firms must demonstrate experience and knowledge of mechanical systems and be a small business in one or more of the following socio-economic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, HUBZone, or 8(a). The size standard is average annual receipts of $13 million for the preceding three years. Responses to this announcement are due by close of business, May 1, 2008.
