Description

The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for principal membership to the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This service is known to be available only from Open Geospatial Consortium as the only creator/ maker/ provider of the service as OGC is a non-profit, international, voluntary consensus standards organization that is leading the development of standards for geospatial and location based services. The USGS is aware of no other source who can provide the above service. Therefore, it intends to make an award to the Open Geospatial Consortium, unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes they can provide the same service. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer, dbroadwell@usgs.gov no later than 4/16/2008 with an affirmative answer.
