Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a REMOTE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE TRAILER prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a commercial requirement set-aside for small business. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 423610. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is one that employs 100 employees or less. Quotes should be in the following format: unit price for each item, price per contract line item number (CLIN), and total price for combined line items. Award Basis: Best Value. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offer: price, technical capabilites, quality, warranty, and delivery. CLIN 0001 Remote Mobile Video Surveillance Monitor with Trailer The trailer must include the following: 1. Trailer platform: - Type: made of welded steel with 2500 lbs rated axle - Support: telescoping manual outriggers with adjustable jacks sized to counter full mast extension - Height: 30' - Wind tolerance: must be able to withstand up to 60MPH winds - Other features: fork lift pockets; anti-corrosion powder coated 12 gauge steel cab construction; 2" ball hitch; vented design for cool operation of electronics 2.
