Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of all sole source NSNs and non-NSNs that have been manufactured by or provided for Oshkosh Truck Corporation and that are listed on the Oshkosh Truck Corporation (Cage 45152) commercial price list. The scope does not include competitive NSNs or non-NSNs that have been manufactured by or provided for Oshkosh Truck Corporation that are or may be listed on the Oshkosh Truck Corporation (Cage 45152) commercial price list. All potential add-ons will be for items that are sole source to Oshkosh Truck and that cross reference to the commercial price list. All part numbers and associated NSNs are available as an attachment to this synopsis. This initiative is being procured under FAR Part 12. Note 12 is applicable. The estimated solicitation issue date is 30 April 2008. The estimated closing date is 14 Mayl 2008. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 9 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contact with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). Approved sources include: Oshkosh Truck Corporation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation. Refer to section “M”. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation as applicable, which if received timely, will be considered by the agency.
