Description
This procurement is an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The project parcel is located to the east of Wahoo Road, adjacent to Building 463 (Electrical Substation) on the Submarine Base Proper. It is approximately approximately 55 miles from Providence, RI, 50 miles from New Haven, CT, and 55 miles from Hartford, CT. The EUL is a real estate lease of approximately 43,500 square feet of land at Naval Submarine Base New London. The initial lease term shall not exceed 50 years. However, the Navy may enter into a succeeding lease of the same or similar term conditioned upon the lessees satisfactory performance under the initial lease and if determined by the Navy to be in the Governments best interest.
