NSN 1680-00-249-5639; Restricted 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources. Requirement is for Firm Fixed Price Contract (FFP) for 160 units and a 100% Quantity Option of Actuator Assembly utilized on the C-5 Aircraft Program. This is a Critical Application Item; Configuration Control Applies; and Export Control Technical Data Packages are available. A Government First Article Test of 2 units is required. Inspection/Acceptance is at Origin and FOB at Destination to Stock Location. Electronic Offers are not acceptable; Offerors must submit a completed solicitation package; A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP. RFP's are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will be available to requesters. The solicitation issue date is May 13, 2008 and will not be available to download until that date.
