Description
U.S. Government Seeks Sources for Leasing Federal Bureau of Investigation Carlsbad, CA Project No. 4CA0740 AMOUNT: The General Services Administration (GSA) desires to lease approximately 9,502 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space yielding a minimum of 8,262 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (previously usable) square feet. The offered building should include the ability to provide a combination of office, general storage, and light industrial space. The lease must also provide for twenty (20) reserved parking spaces. TENANT: Federal Bureau of Investigation LOCATION: The area of consideration is in Carlsbad, CA within the area bounded by State Route 78 on the North; Melrose Dr / Rancho Santa Fe Rd on the East; Leucadia Blvd / Olivehaven Rd / Rancho Santa Fe Rd on the South; and the Pacific Ocean on the West. REQUIRED: The space must be in an office / flex building and section of the city that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well-maintained and of modern design and / or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use with access to public transportation. The space must meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government's requirements for ABAAS compliance, seismic safety, and not be located in a flood plain. Offers for new construction will require the building to be set-back from the street. There should be, as determined by the GSA Contracting Officer, adequate public parking, public transportation, eating facilities, and other services such as retail shops, banks, and cleaners in the area. TERM: The lease will be for seven (10) years, five (5) years firm.
