Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT; THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The purpose of this notice is to obtain market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources to support acquisition of these requirements using a competitive Request for Proposal. Seattle District requires the conversion of two (2) existing high pressure CO2 fire suppression systems to a fine water mist system for the oil storage room, oil purification room and station service transformer vault at Chief Joseph Dam near Bridgeport, Washington. The contractor, shall design, furnish and install the new water mist system to include new fire alarm control panel, fire pump (if applicable), control valves, new water supply piping from water potable water supply to the water mist equipment, and new discharge piping from control valves to hazard areas. The work includes providing a new medium voltage vacuum transfer switch, secondary unit substation, and 5kV feeders. Please note that this announcement is for planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not a commitment by the Corps. The information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining the potential success of a competitive procurement. The Corps does not intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this sources sought notice. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $13 million.
