Description
This amendment is being issued to provide responses to questions as stated below. 1. Is the quote price need to be per item or as a package deal? RESPONSE: The price should be per item followed by a total proposed price for all items proposed. 2. The delivery required is 180 days, the type of helicopter Bell 206B3 is very popular and the demand for spare parts is high. Therefore, some parts may need to manufactured and delivery may take longer than 180 days. Also items that are in stock at this time may not be available at the award time. Is there a way to extend delivery on non stock items? RESPONSE: In accordance with the combined synopsis/solicitation, all parts shall be new, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved. Part substitution is authorized as long as Form, Fit and Function requirements are met or exceeded and is limited to OEM approved revisions only. In accordance with the combined synopsis/solicitation, the required delivery for the items listed on the Parts List is 180 days after contract award. This is a competitive requirement; any alternate delivery schedule not conforming to the requirement stated in the combined synopsis/solicitation will be evaluated as such. As stated in the synopsis, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. 3. The solicitation due date of May 13, 2008 remains unchanged.
