- The Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management (L/AM/AQM/IT) has awarded Request for Proposals (RFP) No. SAQMMA-08-R0155 entitled "Iraq Policy and Operations Group (IPOG)" under a 100% Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Set-Aside using North American Industry Classification System 561320 with a size standard of $12.5M to FedSys, Inc. This effort is to support the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), Office of Iraq Affairs (NEA/I) and the NEA Executive Office's Iraq Support Unit (NEA/SCA/EX-I) through the Iraq Policy and Operation Group (IPOG) by providing program assistance, information technology and administrative support to NEA. IPOG coordinates Iraq-specific activities within the Department of State for all NEA/I Pillars and for the Office of the Secretary?s Coordinator for Iraq (S/I). IPOG provides support to the NEA/I interagency coordination effort; the development of interagency collaboration technology, tools and processes; and the development of metrics, daily meetings, and regular research and reporting in support of the State Department's activities in Iraq. In addition, NEA/I may assign IPOG to take on special projects, tasks, and assignments to facilitate information sharing, collaboration, and policy development across the Iraq interagency community. A Firm-Fixed Price contract, SAQMMA-08-C0180, with a base period of one-year and four one-year option periods was awarded with a total performance period of 1 June 2008 through 31 May 2013.
