- Description
- Contractor shall provide inspection, testing and maintenance service for the electrical distribution system including all labor, material and equipment for the Providence VA Medical Center located at 830 Chalkstone, Ave, Providence, RI 02908. The Contractor must be located within 150 mile radius of the medical center to assure response time. All services will be provided in accordance with applicable code, standards, manufacturer's instruction manuals and equipment. Work will include after hours and weekend work when shutdowns required. The infrared surveys shall be performed during periods of maximum possible loading (period between July 15 through August 15, 9:00AM to 3:00 pm) but not less than 10 percent (10%) of the rated load of the electrical equipment being inspected. This is for one base year of testing and two option years for testing. Contractor must provide evidence of insurance coverage to the Contracting Officer. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. The applicable NAICS code is 2338210 and the size standard is $13.0 million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include price and past performance/similar experience. The solicitation package will be available on or about May, 27 2008. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for June 11, 2008 at 12:00 pm (noon). Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
