- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation RFQ50903-0006-8, for the acquisition of General Line Grocery Products for the 4rd Quarter of FY 2008. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, and FOB Destination. Delivery dates are posted within this solicitation. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 3150 Horton Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. The government reserves the right to make a single or multiple awards. The government will award to responsible quoters(s), whose offer, conforming to the solicitation requirements, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be available on June 11, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the Government Point of Entry, which is www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure you have the most-up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is on June 23, 2008. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quote, which will be considered for an award. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. All interested parties doing business with the Federal Government must register in Central Contractors Register (CCR) database prior to any contracts awards.
