- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a solicitation seeking quotations for approximately 13,000 Square Feet of Tate Access Floor System Concore 1250 Positile access flooring, 1,200 Square Feet of Tate Perf 1000 Vented Floor Tile, and all related understructure and supplies necessary for installation. Delivery is FOB Destination, 90 days after contract award. All flooring and supplies provided shall be Tate Access Floors, Inc. BRAND NAME ONLY. Tate Access Floor Systems have been consistently utilized at SSA’s National Computer Center. Other brands are not compatible with existing flooring and could not be used to create a safe and secure environment. The use of such brand name description in this acquisition is essential to the Government’s requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any additional information and documents on this requirement will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site for release of this solicitation, amendments and all other documents relative to this solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. SSA anticipates release of the Request for Quotation (SSA-RFQ-08-1528) on or about June 20, 2008. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract.
