Description

The National Assessment Governing Board is preparing to develop a framework for grades 4, 8, 12 for a probe in Technological Literacy for the 2012 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). The Governing Board plans to issue a Request for Proposals on June, 24, 2008, under full and open competition. Proposals will be due August 8, 2008. The period of performance is anticipated to be 18-24 months. This is the first-ever NAEP assessment in Technological Literacy. The basis of contract award will be technical capability of the offeror to provide the required services, combined with cost factors. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond to the solicitation. All timely responses received shall be considered by the Governing Board. Telephone requests should be placed by calling (202) 357-0392 or (202) 357-6938. Fax requests may be sent to (202) 357-6945. Written requests should be sent to the attention of Stephen Swearingen at the address shown above as the Contracting Office Address. In response to telephone, fax, or written requests, NAGB will send copies of the RFP by regular U.S. Postal Service mail on or after June 24, 2008. Copies may be picked up at the Contracting Office Address on or after the release date. Please call the Governing Board office prior to arranging for in-person pick-up of the solicitation to ensure that the solicitation is ready. The Statement of Work will appear on the NAGB website http://www.nagb.org on or after June 24, 2008.
