Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for design and implementation of all software and hardware components of the Advanced National Seismic system (ANSS) Waveform Archive. This is a presolicitation for RFI 07HQ19 announced 10 April 2007 and modified 12 April 2007. The effort will require maintenance and operation of the archive as a service for ANSS, its member networks and end users. Request for Proposals (RFP) 08HQSS0035 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about July 30, 2008. The RFP will state the actual deadline for the submission of proposals. Details may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a proposal. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register by going to www.ccr.gov. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will consist of a three-year contract. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price for monthly services. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2008. This requirement is unrestricted and the NAICS code is 518210. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the NBC website for any solicitation amendments.
