Description
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking small business sources that can provide preventive maintenance of MECO steam generators and a Water for Injection (WFI) production system, replacement of de-ionized water tanks, annual calibration of total organic carbon monitoring system, chemical sanitation of RO water loops, and emergency repair service (as required) for the Water for Injection System at the Vaccine Research Center (VRC). All small businesses including veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns should respond with a capability statement by July 23, 2008, 11:00 am EDT. Teaming arrangements are encouraged. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the offeror and the dollar value of that work. Respondents must demonstrate, within the capability statements, experience maintaining WFI systems and clean steam generators for biopharmaceutical manufacturing or process development facilities. Respondents must also demonstrate experience in operation, repair and maintenance of MECO steam generators, experience in installing de-ionized water tanks and experience in the programming and maintenance of Allen-Bradley controllers. This is a market survey, not a request for proposals. Capability statements are limited to 5 pages and should be submitted electronically to Terrie Nestor at tnestor@niaid.nih.gov. All questions must be submitted, in writing, to the preceding e-mail address.
