- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to July 15, 2008 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement This solicitation VA-261-08-RQ-0256 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25. Only emailed requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 423450 and the business size standard is 100 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs requires: Brainsight TMS "Turnkey" System - Brainsight TMS Software v1.7 (and 2.0 upgrade), Apple iMac Core 2 Duo Computer w/24" screen, Mobile Trolley for iMac, Northern Digital Optical Position Sensor (Vicr), X-Keys Switch Interface for Remote Triggering. Brainsight TMS Basic Tracker Kit -Passive Pointer, Coil Tracker Kit(Specify Mode), Subject Tracker Kit(Tracker, Head Strap, Glasses), Calibration Tool, 3 Replacement Passive Reflective Tracker Spheres. Head and Coil Holder Stand - Stand Assembly, Passive Articulated Coil Holder Arm, Passive Articulated Subject Forehead Rest, Chin Rest, Prone and Supine Head Cradles.
