Description
NAICS Code: 334516 66--J2 Scientfic AccuPrep MPS GPC Cleanup System. The U.S. EPA, Region 9, 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) with J2 Scientific, for a AccuPrep MPS GPC Cleanup System. Thisprocurement supports the U.S EPA Region 9 Richmond Laboratory, 1337 South 46th Street, Bldg. 201, Richmond, CA 94804. This requirement inlcudes: 1) #JJ503, Accup Prep MPS GPC Cleanup System; 2) #JPrep, AccuPrep Control Software; 3) #JChrome AccuChrome Chromatography Software Upgrade; 4) #AK1200, Tray Kit; 5) CO100, Glass GPC Column; 6) #DT0002X, UV Detector; 7) #Install, On-site installation and training; 8) EXWARR, Extended Warranty (additional two years); 9) #BV38200, Vial Collect 38x200mn (Quantity 24 EA); 10) #BV007, Caps 38mm Vial (Quantity 24 EA). This notice is not a request for quotations, EPA source research indicates J2 Scientific is the only known source providing supplies/services able to satisfy agency requirements (i.e. capability of new J2 gel permeation chromatography GPC system and upgrade to exisitng J2 equipment control and chromatography software to be used for both new and existing GPC systems). However, any firm believing itself capable of meeting may submit technical documentation to establish the potential of providing this system. Any such documentation must be submitted within 5 days of electronic posting of this notice (before July 16, 2008, 3:00PM PST).
