- Description
- Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, and materials to perform the necessary tests to locate and seal a leak in an artesian well casing located in Fergus County, Montana. Work will consisted of, but not limited to; mobilization, locating and repairing the leak. The contractor will have 35 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors being considered for award of a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Contractors shall also be registered in the Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov; ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted at http:/ideasec.nbc.gov ON OR ABOUT August 1, 2008. If you encounter problems retrieving the solicitation, send an e-mail to tcarrill@blm.gov. Please include a phone number where you can be reached. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of August 11, 2008. A final date, time, and place will be cited in Section L of the Request for Quotations. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 30, 2008. NO HARD COPIES of the solicitation will be sent out by this office. This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 237110. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
