Description

***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is July 25, 2008***********. This proposed solicitation is intended to relocate the existing Tahkenitch Trail Bridge located on Forest Service Tahkenitch Trail #1336 to a new location about 100 feet from its current location. The contractor shall remove the existing trail bridge superstructure and part of the substructure. Construction of new pressure treated abutments shall be installed in the new location. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, materials, and incidentals to construct pressure treated timber sills at both ends of the bridge and to relocate and install the existing bridge on to the new sills. The project is located on the Siuslaw National Forest, Central Coast District, Douglas County, Oregon. The Government estimate is between $ 25,000 and $ 100,000.00. Contract time is 14 calendar days. Estimated start work date is August 25, 2008. This contract is NOT set-aside for small business pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Act.
