Description

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management ((OASAM) seeks the services of contractors for janitorial services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million. The award will be a fixed price contract. DOL anticipates the resulting contract award to be for a period of one (1) year plus four (4) one year option periods. The Contractor shall provide the management, supervision, labor, subcontractors, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective completion of all services described within. Pre-proposal conference will be held on August 1, 2008, at 10:00 AM local time at the U. S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210-0001. For the pre-proposal registration, call Naomi Tabuga at (202) 693-7986, no later than July 30, 20008. The Federal Business opportunities web site, http://www.fbo.gov will provide downloading instructions. All future Information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date for the receipt of proposals for this solicitation is August 22, 2008, at 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Interested parties desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, scope of work, etc., must submit any questions via e-mail no later than August 15, 2008. This is necessary to allow a reply to be posted on FedBizOpps. Questions will be accepted via electronic mail and must be sent only to this email address: syphax.hannah@dol.gov. Offerors for this solicitation must send four (4) copies of the proposal together with one electronic copy of DC in MSWord format.
