Description
Product must be able to register scanned barcodes from various sources (i.e. DHL, FEDEX, UPS, etc., including standard barcodes generated from here.) In addition to software and or system two scanners must be included along with cradles for interfacing with the computer software and the recharging of the scanners. Product should be able to capture signature on handheld scanners so that packages be signed for by recipient when leaving warehouse or checked into receiving warehouse. At a minimum the product should be able to check-in items and for each item scanned be able to designate the following categories on a single line item for each scan from which a written report can be generated. They are: a) Check In or Check Out b) Date c) Time d) Bin (Location) e) Tracking # (from Barcode scanned) The product should allow multiple items to be signed for at once when being checked in or out by recipient. The signature block should allow room for printed name and signature. This information including signature capture must be able to be both printed when necessary and reliably recalled for viewing when there is a question as to the location of an item. The product should allow for reports that can be printed over a designated period of time showing quantities of packages coming in or out as a whole or for individual units (i.e. Bins). This is necessary for tracking of the flow and movement of items. The product should be able to produce and print barcodes from a standard barcode printer(separately priced as option)that can be scanned into system and applied to items for internal tracking or checking in or out of non-standard packages containing no barcode. Available service/ maintenance plans and options should be listed for this product and priced separately so that a determination which will be most appropriate for use by this unit can be made. Any additional features can be noted as options and priced separately on the quote. If these features are included in the with the product please summarize and explain the benefits these add to the product being offered as any award will be based on cost and value considerations.
