- NSN 6140-01-263-7799, Battery Storage, in accordance with Exide Technologies, Cage 20038, part number COM-4D-P. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Unrestricted procurement. This item is not commercial off the shelf. This item is a Type 1, Shelf Life, 60 months. This item will require a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). This is a solicitation for a proposed firm fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The guaranteed minimum is 23 EA, Estimated Annual Demand is 91 EA and the Maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 274 EA. FOB destination, inspection/acceptance destination. Requested delivery is 28 DARO. There is no surge requirement for this IQC. Progress payments are not authorized for this NSN IAW FAR subpart 32.5. Possible stock delivery locations are any CONUS facility. Solicitation may be available for issue on or about August 13, 2008 and close on or about September 15, 2008. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
