- This synopsis is notification of the Fort Sill Contracting Offices intent to extend contract DABT60-02-C-0008 for a period of performance beginning October 1, 2008-June 30, 2008 to the incumbent contractor, K-Mar Industries, Inc., 10401 Boney Ave, Suite B, Diberville, MS 39540-4865. A competitive contract was awarded January 31, 2003 for Training Support Services at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) contract. The extension will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Sill installation pending award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for fifteen (15) calendar days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension period would be advatageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period is based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
