- Description
- Provide all materials, labor, management, disposal and transportation for the sharps waste container exchange service for VA Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL. Contractor will order, deliver, handle, change out, transport, treat and dispose of all reusable sharp containers and other Regulated Medical Waste in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFP will be advertised on or about 8/8/2008 as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-a-side with a NAICS Code of 562112 with the size standard of $11.5M. This will be a base year with four (4) option year procurement. The yearly range of this solicitation is between $25,000.00 and $30,000.00. There will be a one time site visit (date and time is in solicitation).
