Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Domestic Dependents Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) intends to award a sole source contract to Eagleton School, Inc., 446 Monterey Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to acquire twelve month residential school program services for school year 2008-09 for an emotionally disabled elementary school age student residing on Laurel Bay, SC. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. SEE UPLOADED PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT.
