Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is CSC080010508 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1- Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Subpart 13.5- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement: CLIN 0001: Man-Portable Neutron Generators 2 Each -to include all necessary ancillary equipment, training, and minimum 2 year service/support and warranty Please see the attached Statement of Work titled “Man-Portable Neutron Generators” dated 19 June 08. Your quote shall include the following: •Unit price per generator •Cost of training •2 year service/support price •Warranty price if not included in the price of the generator •Total evaluated price •Generator specifications IAW the Statement of Work (Attachment 1) This acquisition is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System code 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet at website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and the Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 Correction.
