Description

In order to submit a BID for this Fire Alarm System B1210 you must meet the following Qualifications as follows: Required Qualifications System Designer: System working plans and calculations must be prepared and submitted for approval by a registered fire protection engineer (FPE) or an individual that has obtained National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), Fire Alarm Systems, Level III certification (minimum) in accordance with NFPA 72. Installer: NICET Level I A licensed Electrical Contractor or Fire Alarm Technician with NICET Level I certification (minimum) is required to install conduit and wiring. All Installers shall be factory trained and certified in the installation of the equipment specified for the system. NICET Level II Installation of field devices, termination of system wiring and circuits at the control panel require a NICET Level II certification. NICET Level III Supervision of personnel installing the system, programming of the control panel, testing, final acceptance test.
